Ageism in clinical practice and improving educational programmes based on anti-ageism principles

The purpose of the article is to study manifestations ageism in clinical practice, relationship with presence senile asthenia and comorbidity picture disease, substantiation improvement educational programs based on anti-age approaches. Methodology. To assess subjective perception discrimination, patients mature, elderly age were examined; “Questionnaire for Citizens aged 75 Over”, “Ageism Questionnaire” by E. Palmare was used; Charlson polymorbidity index calculated; improve training medical specialists, their awareness main problems aging studied. Results. Ageism correlated development disease. It has been shown that psychological discomfort associated increases age, which may exceed importance immediate health overall most important manifestation bias justification attending physician disease mainly patients, indirectly implies ignoring other causes pathology reduces activity carrying out therapeutic diagnostic measures. As a result study, need specialists substantiated, taking into account gerontological anti-aging approach.
